Matchweek 20 of the Premier League has not been cancelled after Premier League clubs voted to stick with the current fixture schedule after an emergency meeting due to rising cases of Covid-19Premier League sides have voted to stick with the Premier League fixtures scheduled over the Christmas period despite Coivd-19 cases continuing to rise.

England's top-flight has seen a plethora of fixtures forced to be postponed due to positive tests in the respective clubs camp.

And on Saturday, only one match was able to go ahead - Leeds vs Arsenal - from the scheduled six.

Even those who played were impacted by the Omicron variant, with Chelsea unable to fill their bench with six out of nine substitutes.

Matchweek 20 has not been postponed, however, despite suggestions it could be.

The pick of the fixtures from Matchweek 20 is Brendon Rodger's Leicester City host Liverpool.

While Manchester United, who have seen their past two games postponed, are set to square off with Burnley at Old Trafford.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea are pencilled in for home games against Wolves and Brighton respectively.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank has already called for all games to be postponed for the forseeable future.

"We think we should postpone the full round of Premier League games this weekend," he said on Thursday.

"Covid cases are going through the roof at all Premier League clubs, everyone is dealing with it and having problems.

"To postpone this round and also the Carabao Cup round would give everyone a week at least, or four or five days to clean and do everything at the training ground so everything is clean and you break the chain."
