All Prince Andrew bombshells from Giuffre's new book as royal name-dropped 88 times
Buckingham Palace is braced for further embarrassment as the posthumous memoir of Prince Andrew's sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre hits the shelves today, six months after she took her own life
Prince Andrew faces a slew of fresh allegations in a new bombshell book written by his sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre. His name appears a whopping 88 times in the posthumous memoir Nobody's Girl, published today.
Here, your Daily Star runs down some of the biggest revelations from the book, which comes after it emerged the Met Police began "actively looking" at claims the disgraced royal asked his bodyguard and Queen's press officer to dig up dirt on her. Andrew has always denied any allegations made about him.
'First meeting' in London
Virginia wrote she was staying at paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell’s house in London when she was told Prince Andrew would be dining with them. She wrote: “Just like Cinderella, I was going to meet a handsome prince."
Andrew, then aged 41, arrived at the townhouse, and the group, including Epstein, chatted in the entryway before Giuffre, who was 17 at the time, asked Epstein to take a picture of the pair, she said.
After going out for dinner, they then went to a nightclub called Tramp before heading back to Maxwell's house, where she allegedly told Virginia: “You are do to for him what you do for Jeffrey." Virginia said she had sex with Andrew, who said thank you afterwards.
Virginia said Maxwell told her the next day: "You did well, the prince had fun." Later, Epstein gave her $15,000 for “servicing the man the tabloids called ‘Randy Andy’,” she said.
'Second time' in New York
Around a month later, Virginia claims she met Andrew at Epstein's house in New York, where she alleges Andrew was presented with a puppet of himself by Maxwell and allegedly put his hand on the breast of another accuser, Johanna Sjoberg.
Virginia wrote that she saw “symbolism” in the use of a puppet, adding: “Johanna and I were Maxwell and Epstein’s puppets, and they were pulling the strings.” She wrote she was sent to a bedroom to allegedly have sex with Andrew for a second time.
'Orgy with Andrew and eight others'
Virginia alleged she took part in an orgy with Prince Andrew and eight other girls in Epstein's paedo paradise. She wrote that some of the girls at the orgy on Epstein’s Caribbean island of Little Saint James "didn't really speak English".
She wrote: “Epstein, Andy, and approximately eight other young girls, and I had sex together. The other girls all seemed and appeared to be under the age of 18, and didn’t really speak English.
“Epstein laughed about how they couldn’t really communicate, saying they are the easiest girls to get along with.”
Diana's death theories left her scared
Virginia said conspiracy theories surrounded the death of Princess Diana left her scared after she allegedly had sex with Andrew, because she was “surrounded by people who wielded vastly more clout than I ever would”.
She wrote: “I hadn’t wanted to have sex with the prince, I said, but I felt I had to," adding she believed there was no way to free herself from Epstein and Maxwell’s grip.
She wrote: “Less than four years earlier, Lady Diana had died in a car accident, prompting some conjecture (never proven) that the royal family had somehow been involved." She said she felt "I needed to keep Epstein and Maxwell happy.”
Trump 'asked her to babysit'
US President Donald Trump asked allegedly Virginia if she could babysit during their first encounter at his Mar-a-Lago club, she writes. Virginia said she was introduced to Trump by her dad after she was hired as a locker room attendant in the summer of 2000.
She wrote: “Trump couldn’t have been friendlier, telling me it was fantastic that I was there. ‘Do you like kids?’ he asked. ‘Do you babysit at all?’"
It was at the club where she first met Maxwell, who she claims approached her and said she knew “a wealthy man” and “long-time Mar-a-Lago member” who was looking for a massage therapist to travel with him.
Andrew 'hired trolls' to smear her
Prince Andrew's team allegedly tried to hire internet trolls to tarnish her name and hassle her, Virginia claimed. She wrote: "After casting doubt on my credibility for so long – Prince Andrew’s team had even gone so far as to try to hire internet trolls to hassle me – the Duke of York owed me a meaningful apology as well."
“We would never get a confession, of course. That’s what settlements are designed to avoid. But we were trying for the next best thing: a general acknowledgment of what I’d been through."
Andrew ‘could face 20 years in prison’ for smear campaign bid
The bombshell book was released after the Met Police said it was "actively looking" at claims that the former duke asked his bodyguard and Queen's press office to dig up dirt on Virginia.
Emails allegedly show Andrew passed Virginia's date of birth and social security number to his close protection officer and messaged: "It would also seem she has a criminal record in the states."
Lawyer Spencer Kuvin – who represented nine victims of Epstein – warned the prince could face a US criminal probe for allegedly sharing Giuffre’s nine-digit Social Security number without her consent. The offence would carry a maximum jail term of 20 years.
