Victor Lindelof wearing heart monitor after Man Utd star struggles to breathe
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof suffered breathing difficulties, during Ralf Rangnick's side's recent 1-0 away victory against Premier League strugglers Norwich City
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof is currently wearing a heart monitor, after he endured breathing difficulties during Ralf Rangnick's side's 1-0 away victory against Norwich City.
The Swedish defender dropped down in discomfort and clutched his chest at Carrow Road, before being replaced for Eric Bailly.
United officials sprinted onto the field of play to treat him, before helping him walk off the field.
Fortunately, the former Benfica defender appeared to be in a good condition after the match, despite the second-half scare.
And his wife Maja Nilsson Lindelof confirmed in her blog, the centre-back is currently wearing a heart monitor to ensure everything is in order.
"It was a scary match to watch and Victor was very upset afterwards,” she stated in her blog, two days after he went down against the Canaries.
"He did a lot of tests and has a heart monitor on for two days to make sure everything is OK.
"It was a long time before I got hold of someone on the team who updated me.

"Everything seems to be okay as luck would have it and we are waiting for answers to the last tests that will end tomorrow.
"So we just spent the day at home yesterday and rested."
United also released a statement of their own on Tuesday night, proclaiming the Swede was “recovering well” and “undergoing a series of precautionary investigations”
United goalkeeper David De Gea also revealed his concerns regarding Linedlof’s difficulties against Dean Smith’s side, as it almost sparked reminders of Christian Eriksen’s Euro 2020 collapse, as well as Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero’s recent breathing problems.
“We saw some players who are feeling a bit of problems with their breathing. We saw Eriksen and Aguero,” De Gea said.
“It is difficult to see your players acting like this and I hope he is fine.
“As soon I saw it was difficulty with breathing, it does not matter about the game — the main thing is to be safe.”
