Sutton fire: First pics of tragic double twins known as 'the quads' dead in horror fire
The four brothers killed in the fire tragedy have been confirmed as two sets of twins, aged four and three, as tributes are left outside the home where they lost their lives
The children killed in a London house fire last night have been named as four brother – two sets of twins, aged four and three.
Kyson, Bryson, Leyton and Logan were all tragically killed in a blaze in Collingwood Road, Sutton, yesterday evening.
Richard Mills, Deputy commissioner of the London Fire Brigade, confirmed the brothers are "two sets of twins, ages four and ages three."
Flowers have been laid at the scene of the house fire in south London in which the four children, who were reportedly attended Westbourne Primary School, were killed.
One message on a bouquet appears to be from a family member, which reads: "To Kyson Bryson Leyton + Logan. Sleep well. Love Grandad".
One neighbour, Jessica West, has organised a GoFundMe campaign to support for the family.
On the page, Jessica wrote: “I am 17 years old and live next to where this awful event took place . I didn’t know these lovely boys but they went to the same school as my little sister and I’ve only heard lovely things about them all.
“They were known as the ‘quads’ as they all looked the same . I’m so disheartened by this and I just want to help as much as I possibly can and I think I’m not the only one too! Time for the Sutton community to come together and support this family.”
Another one of the family's neighbour's said the kids all "looked really happy" and were "really sweet" when she saw them.
She said:: ‘’Everyone has been really sympathetic. We used to see the mum who is in her twenties in the morning. The boys went to the same school as mine which is Westbourne Primary School.
‘’The kids looked really happy. The boys looked really sweet and nothing seemed out of order. I didn’t know them personally. I only saw their mum in the morning. Everyone in this road knew them and the boys were really cute.’’
A woman at a local shop, near to where the children lived, described the brothers as "so well behaved" and "polite".
The 24-year-old, who did not want to give her name, said the two sets of twin boys often came to her shop with their mother.
She said: "They were always all holding hands, they were so well behaved, so polite."
Another neighbour said: ‘’The kid's mum and her partner were a well-known couple and they were well liked. They came across well.’’
Around 60 firefighters were sent to tackle the blaze, which when they arrived was already "very well-developed."
Firefighters in breathing apparatus were seen entering the mid-terrace house and managed to bring the four young children out of the property.They were given immediate CPR by firefighters at the scene but sadly passed away in hospital.
The fire department confirmed that no one else was in the house other than the four brothers.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that a 27-year-old woman has been arrest on suspicion of child neglect.
Richard Mills, deputy commissioner of the London Fire Brigade, said: "It's a very traumatic event.
"They (firefighters) attended a very well-developed fire; they got there in under three minutes.
"Second two machines within seven minutes.
"Entering a building and rescuing life is always a very difficult place to be. The age of the children, the fact they are so young will have a profound impact on them."
The roads around the scene continue to be closed off as investigators continue to search.
A witness to the blaze said: ‘’I just saw burning, it was horrific. The whole community rushed to help and the emergency services did a fantastic job.’’
Tributes have also been made on social media following the news of the boy’s deaths.
One friend of the family wrote: “Rest in peace boys! We will all miss your beautiful smiles. This has really touched us all so much.”
