Prince Harry burst with rage in a heated feud with brother William over how quickly his relationship had progressed with Meghan Markle, a new book has sensationally claimed.
Christopher Andersen's 'Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan' suggested the two royal brothers had a heated row that led to Harry blurting out: "Who the hell do you think you are?"
According to celebrity news site Page Six: “Prince Harry was so incensed when his older brother, Prince William, questioned his fast-moving romance with Meghan Markle that he blurted out, ‘Who the hell do you think you are?’
“The alleged outburst in September 2017 happened when Harry indicated that he was about to propose to his American girlfriend,” the story continued, “prompting William to ask, ‘Why rush things?’”
Sources close to Prince Harry were reportedly concerned about how quick the relationship between the Duke and former actress Ms Markle developed after their blind date in July 2016, according to author Mr Andersen.
Page Six added: “One of the sceptics was his uncle, Earl Spencer—the brother of the late Princess Dian
Prince William drafted him in to underscore his opinion that the lovebirds should slow down."
But Mr Andersen claimed Prince William's action of dragging his uncle into the feud made “matters far worse”, Express reported.
The royal author went on to say that Prince Harry was “furious that his brother was actively seeking to have others interfere in his personal affairs".
The news comes following recent revelations that Prince William had his own dream to move to the US years before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle retired from royal life and moved to California.
As Christmas draws nearer, there is still no indication where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be spending the festive period.
Buckingham Palace and representatives for the Sussexes have been contacted by Daily Star for comment.
