Fans can't believe how Antony's impression changes when Harry Maguire interacts with him
Manchester United fans were quick to pick up on a short clip of Antony appearing to give Harry Maguire the cold shoulder after the Red Devils had scored against Nottingham Forest
Football fans can't believe how quickly Antony's facial expressions change when he realises it's Harry Maguire waiting for him.
Manchester United eased past Nottingham Forest on Sunday - barely moving out of third gear - and the Brazilian found the net to send the Red Devils wild again. He was at the heart of the second goal, too, dancing through the Forest midfield before sliding in Diogo Dalot.
And as he beamed with joy celebrating with Dalot, cameras caught his facial expression quickly change as he turned around to see Maguire. And football fans picked up on the video, when it did the rounds on social media.
One United fan joked: "How we all feel watching him attempt to play football!"
"Antony's reaction represents the feelings of all United fans towards Maguire," a second added. While a third tweeted: "The players don’t like him. That’s clear to see!"
However, another United fan slammed the video: "Read absolutely nothing into this...Grow up this United squad is stronger than ever and we should all be behind it not trying to tear it apart!"
United's three points on Sunday evening have bolstered their hopes of securing Champions League football next season. The Red Devils are currently third, but fourth-placed Newcastle are breathing down their necks.
Speaking after the game Erik ten Hag said: "First, I know he can also use his right but he has to do it more. Second, he can also go outside but he is so good on the inside!
“I’ve seen, for instance, Arjen Robben a lot. They used to say he has only one trick — but that one trick was so brilliant no one can stop it.
"Of course, if you can go both ways you have more variations and you are more difficult to stop.
“But you can also improve the trick that you are really good at. His first yards with the ball as he dribbles are so outstanding and so difficult to defend, so he has to keep doing that.”
