The couple were flying into Bristol from Tenerife, Spain, in seats 16A and 16B at around 7am, when their act was witnessed by three of their fellow passengers – including one sat in seat 16C

A horny couple were hoiked off an easyJet flight after they tried to join the Mile High Club.

Bristol Magistrates’ Court heard how Bradley Smith and Antonia Sullivan, both of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, were busted getting frisky shortly after take-off. Smith, 22, and Sullivan, 20, are reported to have covered their laps with coats, with Smith overheard saying “w*** me off”.

They were flying into Bristol from Tenerife, Spain, in seats 16A and 16B at around 7am, when their act was witnessed by three of their fellow passengers – including one sat in seat 16C.

The Sun reports Maree Doyle, prosecuting, told Bristol Magistrates’ Court: “After a few minutes the witness was aware that the couple had re-arranged some coats over Smith’s lap and there followed vigorous hand movements beneath the coat.”

The court heard how the flight crew were then made aware of the incident by the passenger. “The witness sitting next to them could see what was happening while a mother and teenage daughter sitting behind the couple could also see what was going on,” the prosecutor continued, noting the teenager told her mother “I can see his bits” – leading to a second complaint.

Despite Sullivan’s reported protests that she had only been rubbing his leg, the pair were taken from the flight by easyJet employees and police, confirmed the airline. On Thursday (September 26), the couple both pleaded guilty to one count each of outraging public decency.

According to the Sun, Judge Lynne Matthews said during sentencing: “You had no regard for the feelings of other passengers. There was a child sitting behind you who was able to see what was happening.

“Who do you think you are and what right do you think entitled you to behave in that way in full view of people on that flight?”

Unemployed Smith was handed 300 hours of community work and full-time carer Sullivan got 270 hours.

They were both also ordered to pay £100 compensation to each of the three witnesses.

An easyJet spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that this flight to Bristol was met by police on arrival, due to the behaviour of two passengers onboard.”
