England's victorious Lionesses paraded down The Mall as Sarina Wiegman's side celebrated their Euro 2025 triumph in London before arriving at a ceremony in front of Buckingham Palace

England's victorious Lionesses took to The Mall for their Euro 2025 trophy parade.

Sarina Wiegman's team successfully retained their crown as Queens of Europe in Switzerland. The Lionesses beat Spain on penalties to lift the trophy after a 1-1 draw at the end of extra-time.

Crucial saves in the shootout from Hannah Hampton gave Chloe Kelly the chance to be England's hero again. The Arsenal forward stepped up and smashed the winning penalty into the roof of the net.

Three years on from landing the title for the first time. The Lionesses celebrated European success again.

Arriving home at Southend Airport yesterday, the players headed to 10 Downing Street for a celebratory reception. After the red carpet was rolled out for them by Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, the Lionesses continued their celebrations.

The victorious stars were then able to let their hair down as they headed to Soho for a night out. A few of the players will likely, and understandably, be nursing hangovers on the bus parade which takes place on The Mall.

Thousands of fans have turned out to celebrate the Lionesses' success.

England's hero Chloe Kelly dropped an f-bomb on BBC One after saying: "Pressure? What pressure!" The match winning star, 26, thanked fans who travelled to Switzerland to support the Lionesses saying it was 'so f***king special'. The expletive broadcast live on the BBC News Channel forced Football Focus presenter Alex Scott to hastily make an apology for fruity language.

At the parade outside Buckingham Palace, an emotional looking captain Leah Williamson said the team was "special". Then told how the team rallied around defender Jess Carter, who was racially abused during the tournament, saying the team had "nasty things to deal with and still we rise".

Wiegman, 55, paid tribute to the team before one of her favorite singers Burna Boy made a surprise appearance on stage. The England's Dutch boss than broke out into a dance with the Nigerian star as the crowd lapped up the performance.
