Controversial WAG said footballers 'not great lovers' who 'prefer to pleasure themselves'

Erjona Sulejmani, the ex-wife of former Switzerland international Blerim Dzemaili, once claimed that footballers are "not great lovers" and "prefer to do it themselves"

A former WAG has dished the dirt on footie stars' bedroom skills, claiming they're "not great lovers" and even suggesting they'd rather go solo than score with their partners.

Erjona Sulejmani, who was hitched to Swiss footballer Blerim Dzemaili, didn't hold back when she spilled the beans about her lacklustre love life with the ex-Bolton Wanderers hunk.

The Albanian beauty tied the knot with the midfielder in 2015, but it seems the bedroom action wasn't quite up to Premier League standard.

Erjona told all on Italian telly, dishing the dirt on her intimate antics with Dzemaili on the show Le Capitaine back in 2017. She didn't mince her words, leaving viewers gobsmacked with her candid confessions about the Yugoslavian-born baller's pre-game preferences.

Taking a saucy dig at her then-beau, she declared: "Sex before matches? Footballers are not great lovers. They prefer to do it themselves."

According to the Daily Mail, her risque remarks ruffled feathers, prompting Dzemaili to get his legal eagles involved. And, by January 2018, the pair had apparently called full time on their marriage.

Erjona had previously grabbed the limelight for rooting for Switzerland during Euro 2016, where she was spotted in the stands rooting for Dzemaili, decked out in Swiss kit and with their little one in tow.

Despite the rocky road and their split, Erjona has admitted she's still got a bit of a soft spot for Djemaili. She even kept rooting for her former beau at the 2018 World Cup, where they ultimately got the boot from Sweden in the round of 16.

Speaking to The Sun, she confessed: "Cheering for Blerim will not be strange for me. I will always cheer for my ex-husband, he is the father of my son Luan."
