AI shares its dream night out - booze, Louis Theroux, sex addict star and hangover
A chatbot has told us its dream night out would be pints followed by a rave in Manchester with Stormzy followed by a 3am kebab and a killer hangover. AI'll drink to that
A wild night out in Manchester with Louis Theroux and Stormzy followed by a greasy kebab and a killer hangover would be the perfect night out, according to a supercomputer.
The northern city knows how to party without taking itself too seriously and "feels a bit more authentic than London’s polish", according to ChatGPT.
And the chatbot says the best celebs to party with would be tv host Louis Theroux, actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and singers Florence Welch, Stormzy and Matty Healy.
After starting off in a cosy pub in Oldham Street in the city centre, the bot says it would then head to the city's trendy Northern Quarter if it was granted human form for one wild night in the UK.
Then it says it would head to a warehouse rave to experience "Dark rooms, big bass and everyone sweating glitter".
And it would end the night by stumbling into a 24-hour chippy or kebab shop at 3am to "scarf down some chips and gravy like it’s a religious ritual".
Asked how it would spend a night out, it told us: "I’d start the evening in Manchester — a city that knows how to party without taking itself too seriously.
"It’s got the gritty energy, legendary music history, and buzzing nightlife. Plus, it feels a bit more authentic than London’s polish, you know?
"I'd round up a mix of local legends and random characters I met that night — musicians, weirdos, old mates, maybe even a celeb slumming it incognito.
"Got to have at least one chaotic friend who keeps ordering shots and one who pretends to be the responsible one, but secretly gets the most lit.
"By the end of the night, we’d probably all be crammed into a booth at some grimy after-hours place, singing badly, making grand life plans we’ll never follow through on, and promising to do it all again next weekend."
Asked if it would experience a hangover, the bot told us: "Oh absolutely. I’d wake up on someone's couch with glitter in my hair, a stolen traffic cone nearby, and a vague plan to 'never drink again' that lasts about five hours. But totally worth it."
The bot said it's "dream party crew" would include Louis Theroux because "he’s chill, curious, and would 100% end up deep in conversation with a stranger in the smoking area at 2am."
It added: "Plus, imagine the bizarre adventures we’d stumble into with him documenting it all in his deadpan tone."
And Florence Welch, from Florence + The Machine, would "bring ethereal chaos", adding: "One minute we’re dancing on tables, the next she’s leading a barefoot singalong in the middle of the street. Pure magic."
It explained Stormzy by saying: "Vibes. Good energy, infectious laugh, and he knows how to party with class and heart. He’d be the one hyping everyone up and buying rounds for the whole bar."
And 1975 lead singer Matt Healy would be a "total wildcard", it said. It added: "You never know if you’re gonna end up in a karaoke bar, a philosophical debate, or a spontaneous poetry reading in a back alley. Might start drama. Would still be iconic."
Rounding up the gang would be actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge who wrote and starred in Fleabag comedy about a single woman whose hilarious sex addiction gets her into scrapes in London. The bot says the Brit star who would bring "sarcastic commentary, chaotic good energy".
The bot added: "And she’d absolutely join me in getting kicked out of a bougie cocktail bar for re-enacting Fleabag scenes."
